FAQ for Families

What is ABA therapy?

ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy is an evidence-based approach that focuses on improving specific behaviors, such as communication, social skills and adaptive learning skills. It is widely used to support individuals with autism and other developmental disorders.

How do I get started with services?

Simply fill out our contact form or call us at 609-616-7745. After an initial consultation, we'll verify your insurance, assess your child's needs, and a qualified BCBA will create a customized treatment plan.

What age groups do you serve?

We currently serve children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Are your services covered by insurance?

Yes. We are in-network with Aetna and Horizon. Our team will verify your coverage and handle billing directly with your insurance provider. If you have a different plan, please contact us to discuss your options.

Do you offer therapy in languages other than English?

Our services are primarily provided in English. If your family needs services in another language, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate based on staff availability.

What qualifications do your therapists have?

All of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) are certified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Our Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) are also certified and receive ongoing training and supervision.

What's the difference between a BCBA and an RBT?

A BCBA designs and supervises your child's treatment plan. An RBT works directly with your child to carry out the plan, under the BCBA's supervision.

How long are therapy sessions?

Sessions typically last 2 to 4 hours, several times a week. The exact schedule depends on your child's individualized treatment plan and insurance approval.

Can services be provided at daycare or school?

Yes, if the facility allows it and it aligns with your child's treatment plan. We also provide therapy in the home.

How do I know if ABA is right for my child?

We're happy to help you decide. We can schedule a consultation and assessment to determine whether ABA is a good fit for your child and family.
